Pavel is a Senior Software Developer at Progress, which acquired Telerik at the end of 2014. He is part of the Telerik AppBuilder team. While in the past, Pavel was focused primarily on .NET and client-side technologies, he is now a die-hard JavaScript fan. In his free time, he loves to deliver lectures, attend hackathons and contribute to various open-source projects.

Nikolay Nikolov is developer at Euro Games Technology, Bulgaria. His responsibilities are to create reusable algorithms and software components in C++. His interests: football – goalkeeper for the company team in the IT Championship; Qt/KDE programming; cooking.

Boyan has eight years of experience in software development, most of which in the role of a business analyst and project manager. His initial years as a developer has allowed him to see both sides of the estimation problem: developers asking “why do we have to estimate” and clients asking “why has this taken longer than estimated”. Since his role was to bridge the gap between the two, he’s recently dived deeper into the topic, connecting it with the psychological foundation of how our brains work.

Martin is the Founder of GoStartups, CEO of Assetify and board member of Bitcoin Gold. His companies are oriented in fintech, healthcare and blockchain. Despite the fact that Martin runs 2 companies he still does development and is specialized in iOS development. Martin has plenty of experience in creating products from scratch and that is the reason why his topic of development is specifically for that – creating a great app architecture from the beginning.

As eMerchantPay Group’s chief technology officer (CTO), Emil Petkov is responsible for the IT direction and vision on a group level, including software architecture and development, infrastructure design and system administration, information security including PA-DSS, PCI-DSS, and related payment security certificates, and IT support, and managing internal and external teams in order to deliver the technology part necessary for the business.
Emil brings 15+ years enterprise-grade IT experience in telecommunications, high-end e-commerce, and payments, having spent the last 9 years bootstrapping and leading engineering and infrastructure teams as an architect and CTO. He built cutting-edge e-commerce platforms, loyalty programs, payment gateways, billing and reconciliation systems, and e-wallets amongst others. Some of those include products for giants like HP and eBay, but also present are tailored solutions for mid-sized businesses and startups.
Emil possesses strong skills in product design and management, and leads cross-functional teams by clearly communicating technologies and their relevance to the business – in order to drive business performance, efficiency, and growth.
Last but not least, Emil has a deep understanding of the payment ecosystem and its players, having spent the last decade working on the merchant side, PSP side, acquirer side, and the card issuer side, in that order.
